Various Summer Camps Throughout Summer Season
$50 - $125

Once the novelty of lazy summer days wears off, many kids are
looking for some organized fun. Keep them entertained with summer theatre camps being offered at the Empress Theatre this July and August.

Full day and half-day camps are available to accommodate kids from ages 6-17. Camps take place at the theatre, and each session finishes with a performance for kids to demonstrate what they’ve learned that week.

New this year is a camp called Creativity in Motion, where children will tell a story through the exploration of different forms of movement and dance. Two previous instructors, Noema Fournier and Emily Eremenko, are returning to run the camps this summer, in addition to a new face, Michael McTighe.

This year’s sessions:

Ages 8-14 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 10 to Friday, July 14
Students will spend mornings doing creative activities focusing on acting and storytelling. They will work together with instructors to create, rehearse and perform an original short play. Performance will be Friday at 4:00 p.m. $125
