Pure Power Wrestling Wildslide
February 18, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm $20
Pure Power Wrestling returns to Lethbridge with a night of exciting LIVE pro wrestling action at Wildside, Saturday, Feb. 18.
A huge tag team main event will see Pure Power Wrestling Heavyweight Champion “The Tattooed Terminator” Massive Damage and Monster Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion The Irishman join forces to clash with The Adult Social Society — “Cougar Meat” Kyle Sebastian and “The Big Sexy Beast” Bradley Graham.
Sebastian is coming off of a victory in the Gauntlet for the Gold match one month ago and has been inseparable from his trophy ever since.
With a disqualification victory of MPW Tag Team Champions Sydney Steele and Tyler James in the record books, the A.S.S. are looking to cement themselves as one of the top teams in Western Canada by knocking off two Heavyweight Champions in one night.
“We’re the best. We’re the best of the best of the best,” said Sebastian. “Cougar Meat, the BSB and my Gauntlet for the Gold trophy, or as I call her bae, can’t be stopped.”
“We’ll beat Massive Damage and that Irish guy, and we’ll look good doing it,” said Graham.
Irishman will have be looking over his shoulder throughout the night, as one month ago he was assaulted by Chris Perish. While he attempted to give an interview for PowerSlam TV regarding the results of his number one contendership match, Perish blindsided Irishman and delivered a brutal beat down.
“I’ve got a match, but I’m going to get my hands on Perish one way or another,” said Irishman. “He’s going to be lucky if he walks out of Lethbridge under his own power.”
At January’s Gauntlet for the Gold event, Travis “The Heat” Copeland made his return to professional wrestling for the first time in over seven years as a surprise opponent for PPW Cruiserweight Champion Cyanide, taking the Champion to the limit. At Wildside on Feb. 18, Copeland will have an opportunity to earn his place on the PPW roster by going one-on-one once again with Cyanide.
“My client will make sure that not only does Travis Copeland not earn a spot on the roster, but that he’s never seen in pro wrestling again. Go back home and sit on your couch for seven more years,” said Cyanide’s manager “Blackheart” Vinnie Valentine.
“This is my one shot,” said Copeland. “I’m going to get into the ring and I’m going to fly. I’ll go higher than I’ve ever gone and at the end of the night I’ll have my spot on the roster. Then I’m coming for your belt next, Cyanide.”
Also featured on the card, “The Real Deal” Sydney Steele will clash in singles action with “The All-American” Steve Rivers.
Don’t miss out on the rest of PPW’s exciting stars including “Wild Child” Tyler James, Kid Cyrus and Kato.
Wildside will be held at the Fritz Sick Memorial Centre (420 – 11 St. S.) LIVE Saturday, Feb. 18.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at King of Trade and online at www.purepowerwrestling.ca.
