Pure Power Wrestling
July 15 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm $10 - $15
Pure Power Wrestling sets it off Saturday, July 15 at the Fritz Sick Memorial Centre with a night of LIVE pro wrestling action!
In the main event, “The Big Sexy Beast” Bradley Graham looks to become a three-time Pure Power Wrestling Heavyweight Champion as he tries to unseat “The Tattooed Terminator” Massive Damage in singles action. Massive Damage has had a death grip on the PPW Heavyweight Title since June of 2016, reigning atop the division for more than 380 days and turning away all comers. Graham, on the other hand, has been out of the PPW Title picture for nearly two years and is looking to place the gold back around his waist.
“That giant ape wants to steal my belt?” asked Massive Damage. “That’s fine, I’ll chop him down to size just like I’ve done to everyone else. Bradley Graham, you’re dreaming if you think you’re the next PPW Champion. And I’ve got news for you. The dream is over, and the nightmare is about to begin.”
Following the six man Mask vs Hair match at PPW’s Danger Zone event, Graham stepped out through the curtain and walked off with Massive Damage’s PPW Heavyweight title belt causing a distraction that lead to Kid Cyrus being attacked from behind and having his mask removed — despite his team winning.
“I wanted the belt, so it took it,” said Graham. “I take what I want, and when you’re my size nobody can stop you. I’ll take your belt, I’ll take your pride, I’ll take it all. And when I’m done with that your girlfriend will take one look at this 369-lb hunk of sex appeal and I’ll take her, too.”
A tag team grudge match will have everyone on the edge of their seats, as PPW Commissioner Bulldog MacBain steps back into the ring to team with PPW Cruiserweight Champion Travis “The Heat” Copeland to take on the team of Cyanide and his manager Vinnie Valentine.
“Valentine can’t keep his nose out of Cyanide’s business,” said MacBain. “So I’m giving him what he wants. He wants to get involved in matches? Now he’s involved, but now he’s involved with a snarling, angry dog.”
Valentine once again aided Cyanide in victory at PPW’s Danger Zone event, this time using his trusty megaphone to incapacitate Sydney Steele and allow Cyanide to pick up the win. After the match, Cyanide assaulted Steele with a ladder, leaving him on the injured reserve. Travis Copeland attempted to make the save, but further distraction from Valentine proved overwhelming until Bulldog MacBain made his presence felt.
“I’m not a wrestler!” said an angry Vinnie Valentine. “I shouldn’t be in the ring in a tag team match. These are world class wrestlers: my client, the former PPW Cruiserweight Champion, the current PPW Cruiserweight Champion Travis whatever his name is, and the former PPW Champion Bulldog! If I get hurt in this match, PPW will be so jammed up with lawsuits I’ll own the company and all of the directors houses. Their children’s children’s children will still be paying me back!”
Also featured on the card will be “Cougar Meat” Kyle Sebastian, The Irishman, Kato, “Jumpin” Josh, Chris Perish, “Headline” Shaun Martens and more!
Set It Off takes place at the Fritz Sick Memorial Centre (420 – 11 St. S.) LIVE Saturday, July 15.
