The Louisiana Hayride is pulling into the Empress Theatre for an evening of rollicking tribute performances on Friday, May 5.
This ensemble show, fashioned on the popular American radio program that aired from 1948 to 1960, features tributes to some of the greatest names in American country and western music, including Patsy Cline, Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn and Hank Williams. New to the show this year is a tribute to Garth Brooks and Shania Twain, mixing newer music with classics from music legends Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Anne Murray, Hank Snow, Ray Price and Marty Robbins.
The Louisiana Hayride is a musical extravaganza that celebrates the magic of the early days of country music. Join us for an extraordinary evening of musical favourites brought to life by the talented performers and musicians of the Louisiana Hayride.
Tickets to the show are $45 and available at MacleodEmpress.com or by calling 403-553-4404 (toll-free at 1-800-540-9229).
