2017 Lethbridge International Air Show celebrates 25 years in a big way:
The 2017 Lethbridge International Air Show is scheduled for July 14-16 2017.
The show is not only celebrating 25 years of high flying entertainment in Lethbridge, but it will also pay tribute to Canada’s 150th Birthday.
An extended night performance will kick off the milestone show on Friday, spectators can expect to see the sky light up with pyrotechnics and high powered jet burners.
Canada’s Birthday will be celebrated on Sunday with the Canadian Air Forces Snowbirds, CF-18 Demonstration Team and the United States Army Parachute Team.
Reduced ticket prices and family passes will be offered for Sunday to ensure everyone can come.
“We want this to be a family affair,” says Marc Ouellette, vice president of the Lethbridge International Air Show. “We want to make it affordable for everyone to come and enjoy, it is a family friendly show that will honour the Air Show putting on a quality performance for 25 years and the great country we live in turning 150.”
Planes of all kinds will be on the static line for a chance to get up close and personal with the planes and pilots.
A shuttle bus service will be running every day of the air show to and from the Enmax Centre and the Lethbridge Airport, free of charge to help alleviate parking restraints at the event.
