Whoop-Up Days: Whoop-Up days wraps up this weekend! Don’t miss out on elephant ears, deep-fried Oreos and those yummy little doughnuts! Visit the Sik-Ooh-Kotoki Tipi Village in Pioneer Park and take the little ones for a ride on the train. Then catch some awesome live acts from The Mentalist Jeff Newman, and Canadian rock band Monster Truck! With a simple gate admission you can take part in all of this and more. The fair only comes once a year so enjoy it while you can!
Dale Ketcheson Live: If you’re going out for dinner Friday night, you might want to head to the Mocha Cabana to catch the sweet sounds of Dale Ketcheson on his classical guitar! He’s only there from 6 – 9 pm though so don’t procrastinate and enjoy some local and fresh food!
Cornfest! The Taber Cornfest is finally here! Did you know it’s the largest free outdoor festival in Western Canada? And they’re practically in our backyard! From pancake breakfasts and food contests, to midway and beer gardens, you’ll find something exciting for all ages at this free family-friendly event!
OKOTOKS: A new Blackfoot Dance-Theatre hybrid produced, directed, and choreographed by Justin Many Fingers. Join this company in residence at Casa for a free Open House on Saturday starting at 7 p.m. for a showcase of the work they have created.
